Casey Stoner & Nicky Hayden - Hair Raising

It's a bit early to say how well they're going to gel as teammates at Ducati in 2009, but there's clearly no doubt how well Casey Stoner and Nicky Hayden are sorted when it comes to gelling with regard to haircare products...
And whilst Nicky's gone for the painfully stylish "just woken up and spent several hours making it look like I've just woken up" tufty look, Casey's gone all out for the brilliant "Holy crap! I've just seen something bloody terrifying!" on-end 100% vertical look. Bless...

Sete Gibernau, "The Queen"

Sete is back. The grandson of Don Paco Bultò, founder of Bultaco, will be in the MotoGP paddock again this season after two years of absence. The Spaniard has a long and illustrious history with Valentino Rossi, finished runner-up in the championship twice and is known for a sometimes a bit "anomalous" style. Especially his long hair, compared with some dramatic entrances gave him the mock nickname "Queen" and it didn't help that his new team Onde 2000 Ducati translated their first press release with the statement that Sete is returning to the Queen Class of MotoGP. Whilst this is correct in Spanish, it provoked a few laughters from the English-spreaking press, but Sete is just out to enjoy riding again and seems to have calmed down a lot during his two sabbaticals. We wish the oldest rider of the class all the best for his first year of return.

Hot Boss Alert - Lucio Cecchinello

Oh, hello there, gorgeous.
This lovely young man is not a racer anymore, but he used to be. Lucio Cecchinello was a 125cc rider himself until 2003, a season in which he scored two wins including his home GP in Mugello. Now he is the team manager of LCR Honda, a team which he set up himself back in 1996 with 125cc bikes while being part of it at the same time. He also build up Casey Stoner in the team including his first year in MotoGP. Overall a very impressive effort Cecchinello made with his team so far.
But even if it sucked - you have to admit that it can not be the worst fate to have a boss who looks like that...
