Balazs Nemeth; Hot From Hungary

For those of you interested in Asapr's Talmacsi replacment in the Balatonring Team, newbie Balazs Nemeth (and who wouldn't be interested, looking at that photo!) here's the lowdown...

Balazs was born in Budapest and was only six when he first rode a motorbike. After just couple of weeks practice had won the first race of his life.
At the end of the nineties he won the majority of junior championships.
2005 brought his real headway: having started his career in Superstock 600 he earned stunning results -in his second race he finished in the first three among the Hungarian contestants. Then in the Alpok-Adria cup - organized at Hungaroring - he finished third among the international field and won the Hungarian Championship the same year.
In 2006 he changed to Superstock 1000 and managed to earn two first and a third position in the Alpok-Adria cup, and also participated in the Suzuki GSXR Cup.
He also ventured to Supermoto where he won nearly all races and was selected as the most talented junior racer.
In 2007 - already in the colours of Full Gas Motorsports Club - he took part in the Superstock 1000. In 2008 he also raced in Supersport 600.

Artist's choice: Marc Marquez

Apparently the new artistic choice to put a MotoGP rider into the right light is the abundantly talented 125cc rider Marc Marquez.

A perfect example is the music video for the song "No voy a parar" from Spanish Pop-Rock-Group El Canto del Loco in which the band has a little race against the likes of Toni Elias, Marco Melandri, Carlos Checa and Roberto Rolfo. A bit of Behind the scenes footage can be found here.

Future champions, future Hotties - Part 1

There are lots of (yet) pretty much unknown young riders in the national championships and coming through the Red Bull Rookies Cup who definitely have the talent to become big and the looks to become some of our favourite Hotties in the future. Here's an introduction to a few of the best (and cutest) ones, watch out for them!

Miguel Oliveira (Portugal).
Wildcard rider for three races of the Rookies Cup last year, won two of them. Now riding for Blusens BQR in the 125cc Spanish Championship.

Johann Zarco (France).
Winner of the Rookies Cup in 2007, made the move to the 125cc world championship this year with the San Marino WTR Team.

Luis Salom (Spain/Mallorca).
Made a stellar appearance in last year's Rookies Cup and Spanish Championship, finished runner-up in both. This year riding for SAG-Castrol Honda in the 125cc Spanish Championship.

Mathew Scholtz (South Africa).
In his second year in the Rookies Cup now, won in Brno last year, awesome race pace in Jerez this year.

Say Hello to handsome hottie and World Superstock 1000cc rider Denis Sacchetti - riding with Pere Tutusaus in the Team Go Eleven PMS squad this season. Not having a great time on track as yet, there's a big learning curve with this new STK outfit, but certainly pretty hot to trot off it!
