Introducing: Vladimir Leonov

The 250cc class will see a new face this season and a new nation as well. Vladimir Leonov is the first Russian to ever ride in the MotoGP championship, joining the ranks of the German Kiefer Racing Team. The 21-year-old from Donetsk near the Ukrainian border competed in the International German Championship for the last two years on Supersport machinery and will make his debut on the 250cc bikes with an Aprilia.
Obviously the championship is now not only another nation, but also another Hottie richer.

James Ellison - It's all about the tyres

Just to make sure that you don't forget what racer skin looks like, here's a perfect example of a naked rider in form of James Ellison. Mr. Ellison, who will again be competing in the British Superbike championship this season, also shows that it is vital to choose the right tyres at the right moment. And wet weather tyres seem appropriate in this situation as some unsuspecting viewers might get a little heated and sweaty when stumbling into a scene with a naked Superbike Hottie. Just in case.

Daijiro Kato - Lost but not forgotten

Daijiro Kato is a name to everyone interested in MotoGP. He was the last MotoGP rider who died through a racing incident back in 2003. Before the horrific crash in Suzuka, he was Japan's big hope, the one talent who beat record after record, even winning races as a wildcard and the one rider who could make history, becoming bigger than Valentino Rossi. But sadly that wasn't to be. Japan and the world of MotoGP racing lost one of their future heroes.
But already during his lifetime, Daijiro was being celebrated like a popstar in Japan, causing teenage girls to scream wherever he went, adoring his boyish good looks and his cool style. One perfect package.

Leon Camier - "Shafter" - A Bit Of Brit

We step aside from MotoGP again today and over to British Superbikes, and in particular to Ashford-born spikey-top Leon Camier - a genuine BSB star even though he only started in the series in 2007, and lining up alongside James Ellison in the Airwaves Yamaha Team for the 2009 season.
His nickname is "Shafter" apparently...
We're not even going to begin thinking about explaining that one!

Stefan Bradl, the wunderkind

If you watched just one 125cc race last season, you know about this guy. Team owners love him, commentators love him and podiums love him as well. It's the new German sensation Stefan Bradl and all throughout last season he's been piling up more and more fans with his racing skills, his modesty and his sweetness. He's like a cute puppy that you just want to cuddle all day long. And one hell of a fast puppy he is. ;)

Double Threat - Isma & Pere

With the FIM publishing the provisional entry list for the 2009 Superstock 1000cc championship today, we see two of the cutest ex-125cc riders together in one class during the coming season - Pere Tutusaus and Ismael Ortega. Pere will ride a KTM for Team Goeleven while Isma will be on a Kawasaki for Team Pedercini. Interestingly enough they've both once been in the same team as Alvaro Bautista - who's arguably the cutest guy of all. Coincidence? ;)

Robert Muresan - Romania's fastest export on two wheels

It's time for another one of the more unknown faces. In 2006 Robert Muresan has brought Romania into MotoGP. The first Romanian world championship rider started off with a few wildcard entries and scored a full season ride with Aki Ajo in 2007. Last season he was part of the Kiefer Racing Team with this year's title contender Stefan Bradl as his teammate. Since Romania is one of the few participants in the world championship without an own racetrack, it is all the more impressive that Robert got this far in road racing. We are not quite sure what he'll do this season, but we're confident he'll be seen on two wheels somewhere.
