Introducing: Julian Miralles, Jr.
Julian Miralles' dad - going by the same name - was a rather successful racer, having his best results as a 125cc rider in the late 1980s. Miralles Jr. soon followed in the footsteps of his father and after early successes in the Spanish Championship he became part of the 125cc Aspar Team in 2005. But a bad accident at the Italian GP left him with multiple fractures in his ankles and he was out of the competition for months to get well again.
The following season he went back to the Spanish Championship and after competing in the 125cc class for another few years he started in the Supersport class last year.
This season the 21-year-old will be riding in the new Moto2 class in the Spanish Championship with the MIR Team which his father owns.

Exclusive Alvaro Bautista Desktop Wallpaper By REV'IT! Leathers
REV'IT Sport International - suppliers to Alvaro of leathers and gloves for this 2010 season, have very kindly created an exclusive desktop wallpaper design for BatiFans.com to share with you. It's a fantastic, moody widescreen desktop in 3 sizes to suit your monitor; 1920x1200, 1680x1050 and 1440x900.
It's based on the publicity shot that was used to announce the partnership between Alvaro and REV'IT! but has been altered to shift colours and to change the background texture.

Vote For Your Favourite Alvaro Bautista Helmet Design
Today's post is about helmets. Look, there's one over at the right hand side of the picture, not that you probably noticed what with the Hottie who kind of grabs the attention...
Anyway - helmets. Yes... There's a superb article over at AlvaroBautista.co.uk - chronicling the history of Alvaro Bautista's helmet designs throughout his MotoGP career.
And even better than that, you can also cast your vote on which is your favourite of all. Vote here...
It's a fascinating feature and there's lots of great pictures of the helmet designs; and it's going to be very interesting to see which lid comes out on top.
Enjoy! (And pass on!)

Enjoy - and share...!
And - of course - if you can help support Scott in his travel and accommodation costs throughout 2010, then PLEASE make a donation at the ScottRedding2010.com website.
